LAHORE: The story Ghazal Bibi – an obese patient – went viral after a local news channel highlighted her situation.
Hailing from Multan, GhazalaBibi was flown to Lahore upon Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s notice of the matter.However, the authorities at the Services Hospital denied her the privilege of free medical treatments.
Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riazrose to the occasion and announced to bear all the medical expenses of the patient and henceforth, the medical treatment started with immediate effect.
