Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan pushed the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the arrests of his party’s supporters by police.
Talking to reporters outside his Bani Gala residence, Khan questioned law under which his party’s people were being arrested.
“Under which law are my people being arrested? These are no arrests, these are outright abductions.”
He reiterated that it was a trial of the judiciary, under whose watch people were being arrested.
“Nawaz Sharif is a product of dictatorship, he does not understand democracy,” he remarked.
“They are going to launch a crackdown here today. I have told workers to gear up as we will be putting up resistance.”
People from K-P will arrive at Bani Gala while removing all obstacles, created by police.
