MUZAFFARGARH: At least six people, including five children and a woman, were killed and three others injured after a fire erupted due to a short circuit at Sanawan, Kot Addu, on Friday. Four siblings, including two brothers and two sisters, while a child and his mother from another family were among the dead. According to Rescue 1122, the fire erupted due to a short circuit which spread to other homes too. Rescue 1122 said the fire affected six homes which was extinguished by fire fighters. Those died included Hamid,8, Arsalan,4, Naureen, 14, and Hania, 2. Tahir Abbas, 2, and his mother Amna. The injured were shifted to a burn unit of the Nishtar Hospital Multan.
